CUSTOM ORDER & MEMORIAL KEEPSAKE POLICY

Where Art Becomes a Keepsake

Creating memorial and custom keepsake pieces is an honor. Each item is approached with care, respect, and intention so your meaningful materials can be preserved beautifully.

Memorial Keepsakes

  • I offer custom pieces that preserve meaningful elements such as dried flowers, cremation ashes, hair, fabric, or small personal inclusions.

  • Respect for your Memories

    • Every memorial item entrusted to Benney Creative Design is handled individually, respectfully, and with the utmost care throughout the preservation process. Your keepsakes are never mixed with another customer's materials.

Custom Order Process

  1. [You] Simply complete the Custom Order Form to get started.

    • Include your idea, preferred colors, and desired materials.

    • Once the form is submitted, you will receive an email confirming receipt of request.

    • If applicable, reply with any inspiration photos you may have to the confirmation email .

      Benney Creative Design will then:

      • Review your submission. If there are any questions, you will be contacted via email for clarification.

      • Develop the design.

      • Send a Design & Quote Letter via email.

  2. [You] Review and Accept/Decline the Design and/or Quote

    • If declined: Benney Creative Design will contact you to discuss further.

    • If accepted: Benney Creative Design will send a Custom Listing Invoice via email.

  3. [You] Pay the Invoice

Artistic Interpretation

  • Every piece is handcrafted and one-of-a-kind. While I follow your vision closely, slight artistic interpretation may be used to achieve the best possible aesthetic and structural result.

Sending Materials

  • If your piece requires you to send materials, detailed shipping instructions will be provided after purchase. Customers should avoid sending their only irreplaceable items whenever possible.

  • Please package items securely and label them clearly. Customers are responsible for shipping materials to me. Because memorial items are irreplaceable, insured shipping with tracking is strongly recommended.

  • If post-production keepsake is being shipped to you, any remaining memorial items will be returned with final keepsake. If keepsake is not being sent to you, return shipping of any remaining memorial items will be discussed in advance.

Creation Timeline

  • Custom pieces typically take 1–3 weeks from the time of production depending on the complexity of the design, curing time, material preparation, and current order volume.

  • Production begins only after the design has been approved, payment received and all required materials have arrived.

  • Benney Creative Design will send a Production Confirmation email to confirm when production has begun.

Design Changes & Cancellations

  • Design changes must be requested before creation begins. Once production has started, changes may not be possible.

  • While I want you to love your piece, custom and memorial orders are non-refundable once materials are received or creation has begun due to the personalized and irreplaceable nature of these items.

Important Notes

  • Due to the irreplaceable nature of memorial materials, all memorial and custom keepsake sales are final once materials are received or production has begun.

  • While every precaution is taken, Benney Creative Design is not responsible for loss or damage during shipping or for natural changes that may occur during the preservation process.

  • Some materials may react differently when preserved. Resin may deepen colors, create transparency, alter texture, or slightly change the appearance of flowers, fabric, paper, or other inclusions. Small bubbles, slight color shifts, and natural variations are part of the handcrafted resin process and are not considered defects.

Additional Keepsakes

  • When possible, additional keepsakes may be created from the same materials at an additional cost. This can be a meaningful option for family members or loved ones.

Progress Updates

  • Progress updates may be provided during production, particularly for memorial keepsakes. If requested, I am happy to provide updates at key milestones whenever possible.

Item Shipment

  • Once shipped, an email will be sent confirming shipment and providing your tracking number.

Returns & Refunds

  • Because every memorial and custom piece is uniquely created, refunds are generally not available. However, if your order arrives damaged or contains a workmanship defect, please contact me promptly so I can work toward a fair solution.
